CONNECTING WITH CHRIST IN EVERYDAY LIFE
Flat Rock Christian Church offers opportunities for students in Middle School (6th-8th Grades) and High School (9th-12th Grades). FRCC strives to create a safe, fun, and effective ministry environment where students can connect with each other and most importantly with God.
In Jeremiah 20:9 we find, “But if I say, “I will not mention him or speak any more in His name, His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” That is the kind of passion we hope to see in each of our youth. Our goal is to lead them want them to a point where no matter what, they are always going to point others towards Christ.
Sadly, in our world today our teens are being told, “Be whoever and whatever you want, you have the power to choose; as long as that choice isn’t to be a Christian. If that’s your choice, sit down and keep quiet.” In so many ways our culture has lost sight of our foundations and have turned our back on God. We live in a culture just like Jeremiah. They neither care what God’s will for their lives is nor do they want to hear His Word. But our teens are different. They stand up for God, they refuse to remain silent, and even if they tried to contain the fire, it still bursts free.
